Lecithin is indispensable in animal nutrition

It is generally known that the special properties of lecithin promote animal health and increase profitability in agricultural livestock farming.

But lecithin does not only play a major role in animal nutrition. Lecithin is also an important component in pet food – from dogs, cats and small animals to birds – where it ensures, among other things, good digestibility and digestibility, an animal-friendly texture and a robust immune system.

Horses also benefit from the addition of lecithin to the feed. Our sport horse Da Vinci, a 7 year old Holstein horse, shows significantly more willingness to perform and improved endurance. The advantages of lecithin in detail:

It emulsifies additives such as vitamins, binds them after spraying and ensures better distribution of the raw materials in the feed. Lecithin is a supplier of choline and unsaturated fatty acids. Compared to palm oil, less saturated fatty acids are introduced into the feed, which are poorly evaluated in the metabolism.
